I was listening to some Christmas music this morning on the radio and the song, “Oh Holy Night” was being sung. As I listened to the words, this line just seemed to jump out at me! What Jesus brought to us by coming to earth was hope: Hope for a weary world. Hope for whatever you are going through today. Hope for the future. Hope for the heart of a sinner seeking forgiveness.

2020 has been a tough year for most of us. The future is uncertain. Life is in a bit of turmoil right now. But, this Christmas season we are reminded once again why Jesus came to this earth and that He is still fully in charge. He came to die for our sins and to give mankind hope for a future … and even still today, a weary world rejoices.
