Black Friday is not near what it once was in this world. However, that Friday long ago when Christ was crucified was a dark day that led to the greatest triumph ever! Jesus’ victory over death and grave. The gift of salvation. That Friday will always be the beginning of the greatest gift ever known to man.

Yes, I am well aware it is Thanksgiving Day, and all of us here at Final Harvest sure hope you are having a wonderful day. I am also aware that this song is a Christmas song. Our time to post Christmas songs is short so we are getting a head start this year!

This song is a wonderful song to set up the Christmas season. Christmas means nothing without the presence of God. As a Christian, we should desire it, and we should seek it out. Our song of the week simply says that Lord, we want your presence for Christmas. Keep your eyes on Jesus this Christmas season!

One of the verses of the hymn, “Rescue The Perishing.” Jesus has been rescuing the perishing for a long time, and He will rescue you too!

Warren Wiersbe makes an observation that many Christians are living in a difficult place. We find ourselves regretting the past and worrying about the future. We need to realize that once past regrets are confessed and forgiven by Christ, they are just that … past! God will not hold them against you, so why should you! And we need never to worry about tomorrow because God is already there.
