As this day winds down I am sure you, like all of us, have been remembering the events of 9/11 seventeen years ago today.  I am sure you all remember exactly where you were when you heard about the attacks.  We all do.  Perhaps you were at NQC.  Perhaps you were in school.  Perhaps you were at work.  No matter where you were, the message was the same … America was under attack on its own soil!

There was a lot of sorrow that day and there was a lot of fear.  However, as a nation we have recovered.  Memorials have been built.  Buildings have been repaired or replaced.  The lives that were touched by death that day have gone on.  Life has pretty much returned to normal.

For those of us who are Christians, we continue to pray for our nation.  Will we ever truly and completely heal from this attack?  Probably not.  We still get a tear in our when we see the New York City skyline without the Twin Towers.  For those families who lost a spouse, a child, a parent or a friend, those families will never be the same BUT GOD does HEAL the brokenhearted and yes, if we give Him a chance, GOD WILL HEAL OUR LAND!
